Brussels, Belgium – October 24, 2023 – At the occasion of the 68th General Assembly held in Barcelona, Spain the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) has appointed Jean-Yves Parisot as its new President.

On 21st September, an International Seminar on Flavor Safety was co-hosted by the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) and its Association Member, the China Association of Fragrance Flavor and Cosmetic Industries (CAFFCI) in Beijing, China.

IOFI pays tribute to the work of the scientific, technical, and regulatory teams within our member companies, member associations, and our association.

The report highlights the progress the sectors are making in becoming more environmentally friendly, on improving workplace culture, on promoting alternatives to animal testing and on being more transparent.

IOFI is extremely pleased to announce that the Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI) is joining IOFI as a Corresponding Association Member.

IOFI is launching a pre-competitive initiative aiming at developing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission factors for a selection of non-proprietary ingredients commonly used in the flavor industry.
