The International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) is pleased to announce the publication of the IOFI Flavor Glossary, a new reference resource designed to support clarity, consistency, and alignment in the use of scientific, regulatory, and technical terminology across the global flavor industry.

We are pleased to share that the 𝗜𝗢𝗙𝗜 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝟯 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 is now available on the IOFI website.

Brussels, Belgium – 20 October, 2025 – At the occasion of the 72nd General Assembly held in Hanoi, Vietnam the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) has appointed John Savage as its new President.

IOFI is pleased to announce the launch of the leaflet "Introducing the world of flavorings". The leaflet will serve as the foundation for IOFI's communication activities around the value and benefits of flavorings.

We are pleased to announce that the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) will be launching a public consultation period for its Scope 3 Emission Factors Repository. The consultation period will run from mid-November to mid-December 2024 (four weeks). This initiative is part of IOFI's continued commitment to sustainability through an open and transparent process, with the goal of refining and finalizing the repository with valuable feedback from stakeholders across the entire flavor industry value chain. IOFI/Quantis will evaluate the feedback before the release of the Scope 3 Emission Factors Repository.
