The IOFI Scope 3 Emission Factors Repository is a shared reference resource providing generic emission-factor data for the most commonly used natural and synthetic flavoring ingredients. It has been developed to support consistent Scope 3 greenhouse gas assessments and to respond to increasing expectations for transparency and comparability across the flavor value chain.
Accessible under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory conditions, the repository is intended to support impact assessments, hotspot identification and continued collaboration among stakeholders.
IOFI is keen on continuously increasing the quality of the Scope 3 Emission Factors Repository. Therefore, each and every user is invited to review and challenge the emission factors available in the repository and report back to IOFI suggestions to improve the data.
