John Savage Appointed IOFI President

Brussels, Belgium – 20 October, 2025 – At the occasion of the 72nd General Assembly held in Hanoi, Vietnam the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) has appointed John Savage as its new President.

At the occasion of the 72nd General Assembly held in Hanoi, Vietnam the International Organization of the Flavor Industry (IOFI) has appointed John Savage, President & CEO of Taste at Kerry, as its new President.

He succeeds Jean-Yves Parisot, CEO of Symrise, who has led the association over the past two years (2023–2025).

With 28 years of experience at Kerry, including more than 20 years in the Taste industry, John Savage has held senior leadership roles across Europe, North America and Asia. Since 2020, he serves as President & CEO of Taste, overseeing global operations and strategic initiatives within the company.

As IOFI President, John will chair the twelve-member IOFI Board and guide the association’s work to foster collaboration across the global flavor industry. His priorities will include strengthening stakeholder engagement, promoting sound science, and advancing regulatory harmonization to ensure a sustainable and predictable business environment.
